Sri Lakshmi Vidhyalaya Matriculation Higher Secondary School

Started out in Arakandanallur years ago. It's right here on Kamaraja Road. Most people know the spot because it’s always busy when the bells ring. We've got the younger ones and the older students all in one place. It gets pretty loud during lunch. The hallways are usually filled with bags and shoes. It isn't a fancy place, just a regular school where people come to learn. Some of the teachers have been here since the beginning. We deal with the usual stuff like leaky taps and missing chalk. The weather in Villupuram gets quite hot, so we try to keep things moving as best as we can. Students walk in from the nearby villages. You see them every morning in their uniforms, some look tired and others are running around. We don't have many big speeches here. It's mostly just making sure the kids have their books and get to class on time. Sometimes the fans make too much noise, but we get used to it. Parents stop by the gate to chat while waiting. It feels like a small community. We just keep doing what we do every day. Nothing too complicated about it. The building has seen many faces over the years. Most of us just want to see the kids finish their exams and go on to something decent. It’s just a school in a small town, trying to keep up with everything.
