Ulavacharu Multi Cuisine Restaurant

You can find Ulavacharu on the first floor of M Hotel. We are situated on the Vinayaka Theatre service road in the Bharathi Nagar part of Vijayawada. The road can be a bit of a mess with all the scooters and people going to the movies, but once you get up to the first floor, it’s a bit quieter. We call it a multi-cuisine restaurant because we try to cook a bit of everything. The kitchen is usually full of steam and the smell of whatever is frying. I’ve worked here for a while and I’ve seen a lot of families come in for Sunday lunch. The tables are standard and we use plain white plates. Nothing too fancy. We don't have a big mission statement or a fancy philosophy about food. We just cook the recipes that we know and hope people enjoy their meal. Sometimes the service is a bit slow when the theater lets out and everyone comes in at once, but we do what we can. The windows look out over the street, so you can watch the chaos below while you eat. Most of our customers are locals from around Bharathi Nagar who don't want to cook at home that day. It’s a basic place with good people working in the back who just want to make sure the food is hot when it hits the table.
