The Food Lounge

The Food Lounge is tucked away in Santha Nagar, over in the Moghalraja Puram area of Vijayawada. Our door number is 36-11-7/1, right on the 1st Lane. Most people know the area because of the Jammichettu Centre, which is quite close to us. We aren't on the main highway, so it's a little quieter here. We set this up because we wanted a place where people could sit down and not feel rushed. It’s called a lounge, but it’s really just a simple room with some chairs and tables. We do the cooking ourselves and handle the cleaning too. Vijayawada gets very hot, so we try to make the space comfortable. We don't have a big corporate office or a bunch of managers. It's just us at the shop every day. We’ve been in Moghalraja Puram for a while now and know many of the faces who walk by. The 520010 zip code is home to us. We don't put out a lot of flyers. Usually, someone just tells a friend about the spot on 1st Lane. We keep the menu pretty limited so we can manage it all. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning till night. If you’re around Santha Nagar, you’ll see our sign. It's nothing fancy, just a local spot for a meal. We hope to keep doing this for a long time.
