Vijayapura Banjara Farmer Producer Company Limited is located at No.246 in the Mutgi Building over in Adarsh Nagar. It is a decent-sized space but we have filled it up with bags of seeds and various supplies for the members. The building is easy to spot once you get into the neighborhood. We have a lot of people from the Banjara community coming in and out every day to talk about their land and what they are planting this season. It gets quite loud in the mornings when everyone arrives at once. We have a few desks where we keep the records, but mostly we are standing around talking. The walls are a bit plain and we have some old maps pinned up to show the different farm plots in the area. Adarsh Nagar is a nice place to be based because it is close enough for the farmers to reach but away from the heaviest traffic. We keep a simple routine here, starting early before the sun gets too high. Sometimes we have to move the furniture around just to make room for a new shipment that arrives. It is a lot of physical work, lifting bags and moving crates, but that is just how it is. We are just a group of people from the local area working together to keep the farming business moving along.
