Jagatmata Mahila Krushak Producer Company Limited

Our office is located at Complex 01, Janpath Panchayat Parisarnh 16 Main Road, Bijapur Vikaskhand. It’s right in the middle of things, which is good because it’s easy for the women in our group to find us. Jagatmata Mahila Krushak Producer Company Limited is a local group of female farmers. We got a small space in the panchayat complex to keep our stuff and have our meetings. Being on the NH 16 Main Road means it’s always busy outside with trucks and buses zooming past. Inside, we keep things simple with a few chairs and a big wooden table. We spend a lot of time filling out forms and talking to visitors from the nearby villages. Farming in the Bijapur area has its own set of problems, and we try to tackle them one by one. We don't have a website or a fancy phone line. If you need us, you just come to the complex. We are usually there during the morning hours. It’s not a polished environment. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, and the floor is always a bit dusty from the road. But it’s our space and we are proud of it. We work hard to make sure the women in our community have a voice in how their crops are sold. It’s just us, working together to get through the year.
