Narayanrao Manhalli Raita Sahayogi Farmers Producer Company Limited is based at the Primary Agriculture Credit Cooperative Society in Manhalli. Our address is No. 133, and it is right in the heart of Manhalli Village. This place has always been a center for the farmers in our taluk. We decided to form this producer company because we saw how much better things are when we cooperate. The 'Sahayogi' part of our name means we are all about helping each other. We use the space at the credit society to meet up and discuss our plans. It isn't a modern office with glass walls. It’s a sturdy old building where farmers have been coming for decades to get help with their finances. We talk about who needs what for the next planting season and how we can get the best deals on equipment. Manhalli is a tight community, and most of us have known each other since we were kids. We aren't doing this for some big profit or to be famous. We just want to make sure that the people who work the land in this taluk get a fair shake. It is hard work, and the sun can be brutal, but we have each other. We keep our records in simple books and try to make sense of the market as a group. It’s just our way of surviving and helping our village grow.
