Gollaleshwara Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out in Budhi Hal, in the Sindagi area. Specifically, we're linked to the place of Siddanna Choudhari's son. It’s a rural spot, very much in the heart of the farming community around here. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles or a fancy lobby. Most of our day is spent talking to the guys in the fields or checking on the storage sheds. The village life moves slow but the work itself is hard. We gather here to discuss what we're planting and how the last batch of crops sold. It's a lot of practical talk about dirt and weather. We don't use big words or fancy marketing speak. We just know what the ground needs and how to get the crops to the market. The weather is our biggest boss, really. If it rains, we’re happy, and if not, we start to worry. That’s just the cycle we live in every year. If you're looking for us, you’ll have to come out towards Sindagi. It's a bit of a drive from the main town but it's where the real work happens. We keep the doors open for anyone who’s part of the group. Sometimes we just sit on the porch and watch the tractors go by in the evening. It’s a basic life, but it’s ours. We’ve been doing this for a while and don't plan on stopping anytime soon.
