Camford School

Camford School is over at 737, Sowcar Sulaiman Colony in Kattamanchi. It’s a bit of a tucked-away spot, but once you find the colony, we aren't hard to miss. The building is a decent size and we’ve tried to make the most of the space we have. There’s a lot of activity in this part of Kattamanchi, with houses and small shops all packed in together. We get a lot of dust from the road when the wind picks up, so cleaning is a never-ending job for the staff. The classrooms are filled with the usual stuff—old wooden desks, charts on the walls, and the sound of children reciting their lessons. We don't have a big corporate board running things. It’s mostly just the principal and a handful of teachers who have been with us for years. We know most of the parents by name because they stop by to chat when they pay the fees. It’s a very grounded atmosphere. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just open the gates at eight and try to give the kids a decent day of schooling until it’s time to go home. The afternoon sun hits the front of the building pretty hard, but we have some shade trees that help out a bit. It is just a normal school for normal families in the colony.
