Benares Hospitality and Services LLP is based right here in Varanasi. Our place is called Kamla Kutir and it is located at B 36/8 on Sankat Mochan Marg. If you know Varanasi you know that this road can get pretty packed with people and traffic especially on certain days of the week. Being in the 221005 area means we are right in the thick of things. We handle various hospitality services and it is a real challenge sometimes. The building is older so there is always something that needs a bit of plumbing work or a fresh coat of paint. We are a small partnership and we pretty much do everything ourselves from the accounting to greeting the people who walk through the door. We don't really have any big mission statements or anything corporate like that. We are just trying to keep the place going and make sure the guests are alright. Varanasi is a busy city and it never seems to sleep so we are often working late hours to make sure everything is sorted out. We spend a lot of time on the phone or just sitting in the front office waiting for the next person to arrive. It is a very hands-on kind of job and we have learned a lot about how to handle different situations over the years. We just take things as they come and try to stay organized in the middle of all the noise and activity.
