Hotel Taj Ganges

We are located on the Nadesar Palace Grounds in the Nadesar area. It’s an interesting part of town because of the history associated with the grounds around us. Being in the 221002 area means we are right in the thick of things. The morning starts with the sound of birds in the trees nearby, which is a nice break from the city traffic. Our building sits on a good bit of land, so there is space to move around. It’s a big job keeping a place like this clean and running right. We spend a lot of time on the basics, like making sure the hallways are swept and the garden stays decent. Varanasi can be a very intense place with all the pilgrims and the heat, so we try to make our little corner feel a bit more grounded. It’s not about being perfect; it’s about being consistent. We have workers who have been with us for years and they know exactly how things should be done. Sometimes the plumbing gives us trouble or the electricity flickers, but we just deal with it as it comes. It’s a lot of walking back and forth across the property every day. People come here because of the location mostly. We don’t feel the need to shout about what we do. We just open the doors and get to work every single morning without fail. We have seen many changes in Nadesar over the years, but we stay the same.
