Sai Narrow Fabric

We spend most of our time over here at Block No. 212 in the Sunil Industrial Estate. If you know the Chikhla Bhadeli Desai Party area, you know it gets quite busy with all the manufacturing going on. We handle narrow fabrics, which basically means things like tapes and straps that other local businesses need for their products. It’s not fancy work, but it keeps us busy from morning till evening. Most days are just about checking the looms and making sure the rolls are packed right for whoever is coming to pick them up. The machines make a lot of noise, so we’ve gotten used to shouting over them to talk. People usually find us easily enough once they get into the estate. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. Some days the logistics are a headache, especially when the trucks get stuck in the narrow lanes around here, but we manage. We don’t really do big advertisements or anything like that. Most folks who buy from us have been doing it for years. It’s just how things work in this part of town. We keep a small crew and just try to get the orders out on time without too much fuss. If the power stays on and the thread doesn’t snap, it’s a good day for us. There is always plenty of dust around because of the fabric, but that is part of the job. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing.
