Sub Station

Our little place, Sub Station, is located in Dungri, right in the village of Rolla. We are sitting right next to the Bharat Petroleum pump on the highway. If you are driving through Valsad, you might have seen us next to the Sugar N Spice. It’s a busy stretch of road, especially with people traveling between cities. We get a lot of truck drivers and families who are stopping to get fuel and need a quick bite to eat. The air always smells a bit like petrol and exhaust fumes from the highway, but that’s just part of being out here. We don't have a fancy dining room. It’s mostly just a practical spot for people who are in a hurry. We spend our time making sure we have enough stock because sometimes a whole busload of people will show up without warning. My brother and I handle most of the work, from taking orders to cleaning the counters. It gets really quiet at night when the traffic thins out, which is when we finally get to sit down for a bit. We aren't trying to be a gourmet restaurant or anything like that. We just provide a service for the travelers on this road. It is a simple business in a small village, and we are quite used to the noise and the constant flow of strangers. We just do our job and keep the station running.
