Piyuz Restaurant

Piyuz Restaurant is tucked away behind the SBI building in Dongri Main Bazar. Valsad is a quiet town, but the bazaar always has some life to it. We are right in the middle of the market area, 396001. I set this place up without much fuss. We have a few tables and the kitchen is right where everyone can see it. It is honest work. We spend the morning getting the vegetables from the market nearby. Everything we use is what is available that day. We do not have a big freezer to store things for weeks. The staff is just me and two other guys from the neighborhood. We do not wear uniforms, just aprons. The walls are a simple color and we have a few windows that let in the breeze when it isn't too dusty outside. People come here after they finish their banking or shopping. It is a convenient spot. Sometimes the chai is more popular than the food. We do not mind. It is a place for people to sit and take a break. The bazar can get quite loud with all the vendors calling out, but it feels like home to us. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It is a simple life running a restaurant in the main bazar of Valsad. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just rely on people seeing us when they walk by SBI.
