Welsuit Glass & Ceramics Private Limited is situated out on the Padra-Jambusar Highway Road. We are right near the D. G. S. Gas Station in the Gavasad area of Padra. It is a bit of a drive to get out here but it gives us the space we need for the glass and ceramic stuff. The highway is always full of trucks passing by and it gets quite dusty in the summer months. Our facility is pretty straightforward. We handle a lot of heavy materials every day. Glass is tricky to move around so we have to be careful. The ceramics take up a lot of room too. We aren't in a city center so things are a bit quieter except for the road noise. Most of our workers live nearby in Padra or the surrounding villages. We just get on with our business of making and storing our products. The gas station next door is a good landmark for people trying to find us for the first time. We don’t have a fancy showroom. It’s mostly just the production area and the storage yard with crates stacked up high. We’ve been here for some time now and we know the locals well. It’s a practical location for what we do because the trucks can get in and out easily from the main road. Sometimes the power goes out, but we have ways to handle it and keep things moving. We usually eat our lunch together in the small shade area behind the main shed. It is a simple life out here on the highway.
