Voltas

Voltas is located at Plot No. 7, right across from the Civil Hospital. We are also quite close to the Indra Palace Cinema, which makes it easy for people to find us. The building isn't brand new, but it works for what we do. We spend most of our time dealing with whatever comes through the door. It gets quite noisy during the day because of the hospital traffic and the movie theater crowds. We’ve got a small group here. Everyone has their own way of doing things, which sometimes leads to a bit of clutter, but we find what we need eventually. We aren't trying to be anything we're not. We just open up in the morning, check the lists, and get to work. Lunch is usually a quick thing from one of the stalls nearby. The weather gets pretty hot here in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going. It’s a plain place with white walls and a few old chairs for visitors. We don't really do much in the way of decorating. It’s just a place of work. Most of us have been around for a few years, so we know the routine pretty well. We see the same faces passing by every day. It feels like a normal part of the neighborhood. Nothing fancy, just us doing our jobs and heading home at the end of the shift.
