Van Baron Shirts

We’ve been doing this for a while now over at Vantage Corner. Most people know us because we’re right by Nagarwada Square, not too far from Mese School. We just make shirts. It’s a busy spot in Siddharth Society here in Vadodara. The shop isn't huge, but it's packed with fabric and finished stuff waiting to go out. Usually, you’ll see us sorting through buttons or checking collars when you walk in. My cousin helps out some days, and we just try to keep things moving. The traffic outside can get pretty loud during the afternoon, especially near the school, but we just stay busy at the back. We don't have a big fancy showroom. It's mostly just racks and sewing machines. People come in looking for something specific, and we show them what's on the shelf. Sometimes we’re a bit behind on orders when it gets wedding season, but that's how it goes in a place like this. We put in long hours, making sure the stitching is right. Vadodara has a lot of shops like ours, but we just stick to our corner. It's a simple life. We open early, drink some tea, and get to work on the piles of cotton and linen. If the fan is working, it’s a good day. There’s always someone stopping by to ask directions to the school, so we’ve become a bit of a landmark for people trying to find their way around.
