U.D. Patel & Co.

Our place is on New Road in the Laheripura area. It’s an old part of the city, and U.D. Patel & Co. has been around here for quite some time. The building is traditional, and you can see the history in the way the doors and windows are built. We don't have any of those modern glass walls. It's mostly solid walls and wooden desks that have been here since we started. We handle a lot of different things, mostly general trading and supply work. The street outside is always full of life, with vendors selling snacks and people rushing to work. Sometimes the noise makes it hard to hear on the phone, but we just close the heavy door. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy stuff for us. It’s just the family and a few helpers. We spend our mornings checking the ledgers and seeing what needs to be delivered. In the afternoons, things slow down a bit, and we usually sit and talk about how the neighborhood has changed over the years. The address is easy to find because everyone knows the landmark nearby. We don't have a big sign, just a small board with the name. It’s a comfortable way to work, and we know our neighbors well. We just try to keep the business going as it always has, without changing too much of our daily routine.
