The Royal Hyderabadi Biryani House

The Royal Hyderabadi Biryani House is over in the Taifnagr Shopping Complex, at A-98 on Tandalja Road. Vadodara is a nice city, and Tandalja is a part of it that’s grown quite a bit. We’re near the Paradise Bungalows, which is a good reference point if you’re trying to find us. The shopping complex is usually humming with activity. Our shop is just a regular spot where we spend our time prepping and cooking. It’s not a fancy setup with expensive decorations. We have a few tables and chairs, and the walls are mostly covered with old calendars or notices. It’s an honest kind of place. We don’t spend time thinking about branding or slogans. We just focus on the food and getting it out to whoever is hungry. The smell of spices is always around, which I’ve gotten used to, but visitors always notice it right away. Some days are slow and we just sit and watch the people go by on Tandalja Road. Other days are a complete mess of orders and shouting in the kitchen. It’s just how it goes. We don’t have a big corporate office behind us. It’s just us here in Tandalja, making biryani and trying to get through the day like everyone else in the complex. If we run out of something, we just go to the nearby market and get more.
