The Appetite Restaurant

The Appetite Restaurant has been sitting here on Fatehgunj Main Road for some time. We are in the Atray Building, right across from the LG showroom. If you’re familiar with Vadodara, you’ll know the GEB office is just a short walk away too. The road outside is always noisy with bikes and cars going past. We start our day early, getting the kitchen prepped and the floor swept before the lunch crowd starts trickling in. It’s a local spot, nothing too complicated. We see a lot of the same faces every week, people who live or work nearby in Fatehgunj. Sometimes the power goes out or the delivery truck is late, but we just deal with it as it comes. It's just us, a few staff members making sure people get their meals. The building itself is okay, we try to keep our corner of it looking decent. We have a few tables and chairs that have seen better days but they work fine. When the weather gets hot in Gujarat, we really feel it in the back room. We just keep the fans going and keep moving. It's not a big corporate chain or anything like that. We just run a small kitchen and hope the food tastes like it should. Usually, by the time we close up at night, we're pretty tired, but that's just how the restaurant business goes around here in 390008.
