Tam Media Research

We are based out of Baroda in Gujarat. This version of Tam Media Research is a bit different from some of the other offices, but the work is mostly the same. We spend our time looking into what’s happening in the media world. Being in Baroda is great because it’s a lively city with a lot of history. Our daily routine is pretty standard. We come in, check the data from the previous day, and start putting together our reports. It’s not glamorous work, and the office reflects that. It’s a functional space with plenty of computers and not much else. We don't have any big mission statements on the walls or anything like that. We just have calendars and maybe a few old photos of the team. We’re just a group of people who are good with numbers and data. Sometimes we have a bit of a laugh over tea, but mostly we’re focused on the screens. The weather in Gujarat can be quite hot, so we’re always thankful for the air conditioning when it’s working. We don't spend much on advertising our own services. Most of our time is spent on the research itself. It’s a steady job and we try to do it as accurately as we can. It’s just a normal workplace in Baroda where we put in our hours and then head home to our families at the end of the day. The tea stall downstairs is where we get our morning break, and that's about as fancy as it gets for us.
