Keval Ram Chela Ram

Our place, Keval Ram Chela Ram, is located at number 169 on Fatepura YellammaTemple Road. It’s right where the road gets narrow and people are always walking towards the temple. We have a lot of stuff piled up inside, mostly bags and boxes. It’s an old building, you can see where the paint is peeling a bit near the ceiling. We don’t mind it much. Every morning we open the big metal shutter and the light hits all the dust in the air. We’ve been on YellammaTemple Road for years. Sometimes the bells from the temple are so loud we can’t hear what people are saying. We have a heavy wooden table where we do all our work. It’s got scratches all over it from years of use. There isn’t much space to walk around, so you have to be careful not to trip over the crates. We don't do anything fancy here. We just show up, do the work, and talk to the regulars who come by every week. Most people know us by name around here. At the end of the day, my back usually hurts from moving things around. We have a small calendar on the wall from three years ago that we never took down. It’s just a comfortable, messy spot that feels like home to us. Number 169 is just where we end up every day of the week. We keep things simple and keep the shop open until late.
