Shrirang Decorators & Caterers is based right here in Vadodara, and we have been part of the local scene for a long time. Our work is basically about managing chaos and making sure everything looks decent for whatever event is happening that day. We have a big warehouse where we store all the tents, chairs, and cooking equipment, and it always feels like we are losing something in the piles of fabric. Being in the catering and decoration business in Vadodara means we work some really long hours, especially during the wedding season when the sun hasn't even come up and we are already loading trucks. The kitchen is always a whirlwind of smells, from spices to frying oil, and it can get pretty loud with all the shouting back and forth. We don't have a fancy office with glass walls; our headquarters is more about stacks of stainless steel plates and rolls of colorful cloth. We’ve had to deal with everything from sudden rain ruining a setup to stoves that won't light, so we are pretty good at fixing things on the fly. It’s exhausting work that keeps us on our feet all day, but it’s what we know how to do. We just focus on getting the food cooked and the stages set up so the families can have their celebration. It’s a messy, busy, but very rewarding way to live here in the city.
