Sun Shade Awnings

You will find Sun Shade Awnings at 884/14 on Makarpura Lake Road. It is a long road and we are in a spot that has a good amount of space for our workshop. We make all kinds of awnings and covers right here on the premises. The building is mostly open to let the air circulate, which is necessary when we are working with heavy fabrics and metal. There are usually long strips of material lying across the tables and the floor is often covered in metal shavings. We have to wear thick boots to keep our feet safe. The sound of the sewing machines is constant throughout the day. It is a rhythmic noise that we have all gotten used to. We have a small area in the front where we keep a few samples of the shades we make, but it is mostly just a working shop. Being near the lake road is nice, especially in the evenings when a breeze comes through. We work with our hands most of the time, sewing and bolting things together. It is satisfying to see something finished and ready to go. We have a few old sewing machines that we have to oil constantly to keep them from jamming. Sometimes we run out of a certain color of thread and have to wait for the supplier to bring more. We do not have a fancy showroom. We just show people what we are building.
