Anam Fabricator

You can find us on Chhani Road, right near the Kumar Classic Society in the Navayard area. Anam Fabricator is a small setup where we mostly handle iron and steel work. If you walk by, you’ll probably see sparks flying from the welding torch or hear the grinding machine running. We do a lot of gates, window grills, and basic repair work for the houses around here. There’s always a pile of iron rods and flat bars sitting in the corner, waiting to be cut to size. It’s not a clean job; my clothes are usually covered in black dust and burn marks from the sparks. We work mostly in the open area at the front so we have enough room to move the long pieces of metal around. When it rains, we have to pull everything back under the roof quickly. The neighbors know us by the noise we make, but that’s just part of being a fabricator. We don’t have a big team, just a couple of us working through the orders as they come in. Sometimes a job takes longer if the design is complicated, but we just keep at it until it’s finished. It’s practical work and it’s what we know how to do. We don’t spend much time talking, just focusing on getting the welds strong and the measurements right. It’s a simple business built on hard work and lots of sweat. Sometimes the metal is heavy to lift, but we manage somehow.
