Tulsi Decoration

Tulsi Decoration has been part of Alkapuri for a good while. We are tucked away on Kika Street 8 B. If you know the area, it’s not too hard to find, though parking can be a bit of a headache on some afternoons. We have all sorts of things packed into the shop. It gets a bit crowded in here during the busy months, and sometimes it is hard to see the floor with all the supplies we have moved in. I usually start the day by sweeping the front step and checking what needs to be sorted out for the day ahead. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so you might see my cousin or my brother helping out behind the counter. We do not have a big fancy website or anything like that. People mostly just walk in because they live nearby or heard about us from a neighbor. The light in the back of the shop is a bit dim, so we usually keep the front door open to let some air and sun in. We’ve had the same sign out front for years. It’s faded a bit from the sun, but it still says Tulsi Decoration clear enough for everyone to see. We deal with a lot of different items every day. Some days are quiet and I just sit and listen to the radio, and other days everyone shows up at once. It keeps us busy on Kika Street. We try to keep the shelves stocked properly.
