Tam Media Research Pvt Ltd is located at C/72 in Radhika Society, which is tucked behind Tribhovan Park in Vadodara. Our office is on the Harinagar-Vasna Link Road, which sees a fair amount of traffic, but since we are inside a society, it stays relatively quiet for most of the day. We do media research, which basically means we spend our time looking at numbers and charts to see what people are watching or reading. It’s not the kind of job that looks exciting from the outside, but it keeps us very busy. The office itself is quite plain. We have our desks set up, a few computers, and a lot of files. It’s a very relaxed environment compared to the big cities like Mumbai or Delhi. Being in a residential society like Radhika means we have to be a bit mindful of our neighbors, so it’s not a place where there’s a lot of loud shouting or chaos. We have a small group of people here who have been working together for quite some time. We usually take our breaks together and talk about things other than work just to clear our heads. It’s a steady kind of life here in Vadodara. We just come in, do our research, check the data, and then head home. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living, and the location makes it a pretty decent place to work. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment, just the stuff we need to get the data right.
