Our business, Talati Brothers Mandap Decorators & Caterers, is located at 106, Jawahar Nagar. We are right on Makrand Desai Road, which is a fairly major route around here. Having both decorating and catering means we have a lot of stuff to keep track of. At 106, Jawahar Nagar, we have a lot of storage for the mandap frames, the chairs, and all the big cooking utensils. It can get a bit crowded in there sometimes. We are constantly loading things onto the trucks to take them to different sites. Makrand Desai Road is usually busy, so we have to be quick with the loading and unloading. We’ve been doing this for a long time, so we have a system for how we pack the fabrics and the pots. It’s a lot of physical labor, especially when you are setting up a large mandap in the heat. We don't really have a fancy office space; it is more of a workshop and a kitchen combined. People from Jawahar Nagar often drop by to talk about upcoming weddings or functions. We just take notes and start planning the logistics. It’s a straightforward way of doing business. We focus on the work itself rather than making everything look perfect on paper. It’s just us doing what we know how to do.
