Suhagaan Sarees

So we are Suhagaan Sarees. You can find us at 163 Mohilli Village in Vadodara. It’s not like being in one of those big malls in the city center; being in Mohilli Village is a lot more relaxed. Our shop is at number 163, and it’s been there for quite a long time. People around Vadodara sometimes have to ask for directions once they get into the village, but most of the locals can point you toward 163 without much trouble. The shop is basically a large room filled with stacks of sarees. We don't have fancy mannequins or bright spotlights. We just have a few fans and some good lights so people can see the colors properly. We spend a lot of time just folding and unfolding fabric. It’s a slow process, but we don't mind. We talk to the people who come in, offer them a seat, and show them what’s come in recently. It’s a very casual atmosphere at Suhagaan Sarees. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a big office. We just like the work we do. In the evenings, it gets nice and cool, and we sit by the door for a bit before locking up. It’s a good life here in Mohilli. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for years and we know how things work. That's just how it is for us.
