Sonal Saree Centre

Sonal Saree Centre is located at number 19 in Vadodara. Our shop is quite small and tucked away on a street that gets very busy in the afternoons. We have been here for a long time, selling all kinds of sarees to the local community. The shop is filled from floor to ceiling with boxes of stock. We don't have a lot of space for fancy decorations. We just have a few counters and some stools for customers to sit on. It’s a very old-fashioned way of doing things. We don't use a billing machine. We write everything out by hand in a big ledger book. My uncle started this shop years ago, and we’ve tried to keep it exactly the same. We know most of our customers by name. They come to us for every big occasion, like weddings or festivals. The street outside can be very noisy with bells and horns, but once you’re inside, it’s just about the clothes. We don't have a website or any online presence. We just rely on the people who walk past our door every day. Sometimes the light in the back flickers, but we haven't gotten around to fixing it yet. It’s just a simple, local business. We enjoy being a part of the daily life here in Vadodara. It is a good place to be for us and our family.
