Sigdi Restaurant`

You can find us on the second floor of the Shrim Saline Mall. We are in Alkapuri, right across from the Conkot building. It is a busy part of Vadodara. Our restaurant is called Sigdi Restaurant`. We have been up here for a few years now. Being in a mall has its ups and downs, like when the elevator stops working and everyone has to use the stairs to get to the second floor. We have a decent sized space but we kept the decor pretty plain. We didn't want it to feel too stiff or formal. It is just a place to sit down and eat some good food. The kitchen is always a bit chaotic, especially on Sunday nights. We do a lot of tandoor items and the heat really stays in the room. Our team is mostly just local guys who know how to cook. We don't have any big corporate training or anything like that. We just learn as we go. Alkapuri is a nice area, very central, so we get a lot of people stopping by after work or shopping. We try to keep the tables clean and the food hot. Sometimes we might be a bit slow when it is packed, but we are doing our best. It is a straightforward business and we just like being part of the food scene here in Vadodara. We have seen many other shops come and go in this mall but we are still here.
