Shri Hari Restaurant

We are in Shop Number 17. It's on the ground floor, so people don't have to climb any stairs. Krishna Complex is a busy place in Gotri, Vadodara. We are right near Yash Complex too. Shri Hari Restaurant isn't very big, but we have enough space for a few tables. We mostly get people who live in the apartments nearby or work in the other shops in the complex. The morning starts early for us because we have to get everything ready before the first customer walks in. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to manage with what we have. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, but we have the fans on full speed. We’ve been here for a few years now. Most of the other shop owners are our friends, and we often drink tea together when things are slow. The menu is just basic stuff that people like to eat every day. We don’t try to do anything too fancy. It’s a lot of cleaning and washing dishes throughout the day. My nephew helps me out with the serving. We try to keep the place tidy, but with so many people coming in and out, it’s a constant job. We just like being part of the neighborhood here in Gotri. People know they can come here and get a simple meal without any fuss or waiting too long for their food to arrive.
