Shreeji Mandap & Decorator

Our shop is at number 127 on Aundh Road in Karelibaug, right near Amit Circle. It's a good location because we can get our trucks out to different parts of the city pretty easily from here. We spend most of our time dealing with mandaps, poles, and all kinds of colorful fabrics for events. It’s a lot of manual labor, loading and unloading the stuff every day. The place is usually cluttered with bamboo sticks and rolls of cloth, but we know where everything is. We are just a local team doing our thing for the families around here. If someone has a wedding or a puja, they come talk to us at the shop. We don't have a glossy catalog to show off, just some old photos on a phone or just explaining what we can do with the space they have. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, especially during the rains, but we manage to get the setups done. We’ve been at this spot for a while now, and the neighbors know us by name. It’s a bit dusty with all the movement, but that’s just the nature of the mandap business. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. We just set things up, make sure they are sturdy, and then take them down when the party is over. It’s a long day’s work most of the time, but it keeps us busy and we like staying active in the community.
