Shree Modkeshwar Dining Hall

Our place, Shree Modkeshwar Dining Hall, is located in the Ashirwad Shopping Center in Karelibaug. We are in unit A-1, right near Shweta Park. Vadodara is a nice city, and Karelibaug is a busy residential and shopping area. We get a lot of families coming in, especially on the weekends when they don't feel like cooking at home. The dining hall is set up to handle groups, so there are long tables where people sit together. It’s not a quiet place; there is usually the sound of kids talking and the staff carrying heavy trays of thalis. We try to keep the water glasses full and the food coming out hot. The shopping center can get pretty packed, so parking is sometimes a bit of a headache for our customers, but they still find their way to us. We have been here for a good amount of time, and the walls show a bit of wear and tear, but that’s just because we stay busy. The kitchen staff stays tucked away in the back, working over big pots while the front staff manages the crowd. We don't have a menu that changes every day; we stuck to what we know how to make. It is just a plain, honest dining hall where you can get a full meal without any fuss. People know what to expect when they walk through the door, and we like it that way.
