Shree Krishna Hosiery

We are based at 2 Krishna Complex, which is right across from the new bus depot on Hosur Road in Padra. It’s a very convenient spot because we can see the buses coming and going all day long. We specialize in hosiery items. The shop isn't very large, but we’ve managed to fit a lot of inventory inside. We have bins and boxes full of socks and undergarments and other basic things people need. It’s the kind of place where people stop in quickly on their way to catch a bus. We try to keep the most popular items near the front so they are easy to grab. It’s mostly just me and my brother running the place. We take turns sitting behind the counter. Padra is a growing area and it’s nice to see new people moving in. We have a small television in the corner that we keep on for the news. Sometimes the regulars come in just to sit and watch for a few minutes while they wait for their ride. We don't have a website or any of that fancy stuff. We just rely on the sign outside and the fact that we are in a good location near the depot. The floor is tile and we mop it every morning to keep it looking decent. We just try to be honest and do a good day’s work. It’s a simple life and the business keeps us busy enough to stay out of trouble.
