Shree Harsidhhi Restaurant

We are tucked away in the G/8 spot of Mangal Dhara Apartment in Alkapuri. It’s in the Sampatrao Colony area, which is a nice part of Vadodara. My wife and I decided to open this restaurant because we both enjoy being around food and people. It’s not a massive space, but it’s cozy enough for the folks who live in the apartments nearby. We have a few tables inside and we try to keep things organized, though it can get a little messy when we're really busy. We don't use any fancy machines; most of the work is done by hand in the kitchen. The morning starts early with cleaning and getting the dough ready. We aren't trying to be the most famous place in the city, just a reliable one where you can get a meal without any fuss. Sometimes the neighbors pop in just to say hello or grab a quick parcel for dinner. We’ve learned a lot about what people like over the years, so we mostly stick to those dishes. The lighting is simple, the menu is handwritten on a board sometimes, and we just do our best to keep everyone fed. If you’re walking through Alkapuri, you might see our sign near the entrance of the building. It’s just a quiet little spot where we put in our hours every day.
