Royal Furnishing

Royal Furnishing is our shop located at 12 Fateganj, inside the Shreeji Market. We are on Harni Road, right in the Sai Vihar Apartment building. It’s directly opposite the Emperor Main Road, so there is always a lot of traffic and people walking past. Our store is filled with different fabrics, curtains, and things for the home. It can get a bit crowded inside because we try to keep a lot of stock on hand for people to look at. We don't have a professional decorator or a fancy display window. We just pile the rolls of cloth where they fit and show them to whoever comes in. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes, but we know where everything is. People from all over Fateganj come to us when they are moving into a new flat or just want to change their old curtains. We spend a lot of time measuring and cutting fabric on the big table in the back. The sun shines right through the front door in the afternoon, which makes it hot but shows the colors of the cloth well. We aren't a big chain store with matching uniforms. It’s just us, working with our hands and helping people pick out what they like. Harni Road is always noisy, but once you step inside, it’s mostly just the sound of fabric being unrolled. We’ve been at this for a long time and we like the rhythm of it.
