Rhythm Event Management

Over here at Akota Sharma Estate, our office is usually full of half-used rolls of tape and piles of fabric samples. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find everything neatly organized in folders. We are usually on the phone trying to track down a florist who is running late or checking if the generator has enough fuel. Event management sounds like it would be all glamorous, but mostly it is just us sweating while we try to figure out why the backdrop isn't standing up straight. We’ve spent many nights just sitting on the floor here trying to finish up some decorations because a client changed their mind at the last minute. It’s a lot of running around Vadodara to find specific things that people want for their parties. Some days are slow and we just sit around talking about old events that went wrong, like the time the cake almost fell over. We aren't a big corporate company with a hundred employees. It is just a few of us who know how to handle the stress when things get chaotic. The estate gets pretty quiet in the evenings, but that’s usually when we are starting our real work at some venue across town. We just keep our heads down and do what needs doing, from picking up trash to coordinating the main entrance. It’s just how we work every single day.
