R M Cotton Works

R M Cotton Works is tucked into Shop No 2b at the Sury Kiran Complex. This is out in Chakan MIDC, near Priya Darshani Nagar. It is an industrial sort of area, so you see a lot of trucks and workers around. We are across from where they sell Novina battery. The complex itself is pretty standard for this part of Tal Khed. We deal with cotton, so there is always a bit of lint in the air. We have got our workspace set up to handle the loads that come in. It is a bit of a trek to get out here depending on where you live, but it is where the work is. Makarpura is always busy with manufacturing and trade. Our shop is not fancy. We have a desk, some chairs, and a lot of storage space for the materials. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking the stock. The weather gets pretty hot in the metal-roofed buildings around here, so we have a couple of fans going all day. It is a practical environment. We do not have any big displays. People usually come to us because they know we are here in the complex. We have been operating out of this unit for a decent amount of time. It is just a regular day-to-day operation for us. We drink a lot of water and keep the cotton moving through the shop as it arrives. It is honest work.
