R J Engineering

Our workshop, R J Engineering, is situated in the GIDC Estate, specifically at unit A1- 611/8. If you know where Bhavna Roadlines is, we are right near there. It’s an industrial area, so it gets quite loud with all the machinery running nearby. We spend most of our time out on the floor dealing with metal and tools. It is greasy work and the floor isn't always the cleanest, but that is the nature of engineering. We moved into this GIDC spot because it’s where all the action is for businesses like ours. There are trucks moving in and out all day long, especially with the transport companies being so close. We don't have a fancy reception area or a receptionist in a suit. Usually, someone just wipes their hands on a rag before coming over to talk to you. The roof gets hot in the summer, and we use old fans to keep the air moving. It’s just a basic shed where we do our fabrication and repairs. Most of the guys here have been working with their hands for years. We don’t spend much time on computers unless we have to. We prefer just getting the job finished and making sure the parts fit right. The GIDC Estate is a maze, but once you find Bhavna Roadlines, you are basically at our doorstep. It’s a noisy, busy place but it suits us just fine. We have been here for years now and the neighbors are all good people.
