Pratap Engineers

We have been at D 9/10 Industrial Estate for a while now. It's right by the Doresanipalya Forest Campus, which makes for a nice view when we step outside the workshop. Being Pratap Engineers means we spend most of our time dealing with metal parts and technical drawings. The noise of the machines is something you just get used to after a few days. We started small, just a couple of lathes and some basic tools. Now the floor is more crowded. Sometimes the traffic getting into the industrial estate is a nightmare, especially in the mornings. We usually keep the big shutters open so some air can move through the place. It gets hot in the afternoons. Our team is mostly local guys who know their way around an engine or a welding torch. We don't have a fancy office or anything. If you come by, you'll probably find us covered in a bit of grease or dust. We just focus on getting the jobs done that people bring to us. Some days are slower than others, but there’s always something that needs fixing or a part that needs turning. It is a steady way to make a living. We keep our tools organized as much as we can, though things tend to wander off when we are busy. That is just how it goes here. The tea stall down the road is where we usually take our breaks. It's a simple setup we have here at the forest campus edge.
