Pragati Restaurant

Our restaurant is inside the BRIJ Complex on Sussen Vadsar Road. If you are coming through the Makarpura Industrial Estate, you can't miss us because we are right opposite the Saibaba Temple. It's a handy location for all the workers and people in the industrial area. We get a lot of regulars from the factories nearby. The place gets really busy around lunchtime, so it's a lot of rushing around for us. We try to keep up, but sometimes the wait is a few minutes longer. That’s just life in a busy kitchen. We’ve been in Vadodara for a while now. The 390010 area has changed a lot, more buildings and more traffic. But we stay focused on our pots and pans. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls. Just some tables and chairs where you can sit down and eat. My brother and I manage things, and we do most of the heavy lifting ourselves. We buy our vegetables fresh every day from the local market. If we don't like the quality, we don't buy it. It makes things a bit harder, but it’s the way we’ve always done it. We’re not looking to win any awards, we just want to serve a meal that reminds people of home. It’s noisy and hot, but it’s our life. We’ve been doing this for so long that the customers feel like neighbors. We hope you find us easily enough.
