Omkar Engineers

Our workshop is at L-19, 4 in the GIDC Estate over in Por-ramangamdi. It’s part of the Por area in the Vadodara district. Omkar Engineers has been operating out of this spot for a while now. It is a typical industrial setup. You have the sound of welding and grinding going on most of the day. The floors are concrete and usually have some scuff marks from moving heavy parts around. We handle various engineering tasks, mostly stuff that people in the local industries need help with. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find people in suits. We are usually in our work clothes, dealing with drawings or fixing a machine that broke down. The GIDC Estate in Por is quite large, so sometimes people get a bit lost trying to find L-19. We tell them to look for the landmarks near the office address. Vadodara is a big hub for this kind of work, so there is always someone needing something fabricated or repaired. We just take it one job at a time. Some days we are really busy and stay late to finish up a project, and other days it’s a bit quieter and we catch up on cleaning the tools. This is the main place we work, though we have an Off. Add. listed for paperwork. It’s just us at Omkar Engineers, doing what we know how to do in our little corner of the estate.
