Patel Kathiyawadi Restaurant

We are Patel Kathiyawadi Restaurant, and you can find us on the ground floor of Lakshya Complex. We are at number 7 on Fatehganj Main Road, right in the heart of Fateganj, Vadodara. If you know where the State Bank of India ATM is, we are just across from that. We make Kathiyawadi food, which is what we know best. The restaurant isn't very large, but we make the most of the space we have. It’s often quite busy, especially with the 390002 crowd looking for a quick and filling lunch. We don't use any fancy kitchen equipment. It’s all very traditional. The smell of the spices usually drifts out onto the main road. We don't have a fancy logo or a corporate office. It is just a local business run by people who live right here in Vadodara. Sometimes we have to move tables around to fit everyone in, but nobody seems to mind. It’s a bit of a squeeze during the rush hour. We don't spend our time writing advertisements. We just focus on the cooking. The menu is simple and written on a board. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. It’s just good, honest food served in a place that feels like home. We’ve been at this location for a while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. There’s usually a bit of a wait on weekends, but people don’t mind. It’s just part of the experience here.
