Paratha Express

We are located on the 3rd floor of the Seven Seas Mall. It is in the Fatehgunj area of Vadodara. Being inside a mall means we get a lot of people who are out shopping or watching movies. We mostly make parathas here. We have a small kitchen area where we roll the dough and cook them on the tawa. It gets quite warm near the stove. We have a few tables out front for people to sit. It’s a simple setup. We don't have a huge staff, just a couple of us working the counter and the kitchen. We get our supplies from the local market every day. The mall is usually quiet in the mornings but gets very busy in the evenings and on weekends. Fatehgunj has a lot of students from the university, so they come by for a quick bite. We don’t do anything fancy with the plating. It’s just food served hot. We’ve been in this spot for a while now. Some people know us just as the paratha place in the mall. We have to follow the mall hours, so we open and close when they do. The parking is downstairs in the basement. It’s a convenient place for a meal if you are already in the building. Sometimes the line gets a bit long on Saturday nights but we move as fast as we can. We try to keep enough butter on hand for everyone who asks.
