Panchamrut Restaurant

Our place is situated right on National Highway No 8 in the Chhani area of Vadodara. We are part of the Prakruti Resort, so it is a bit of a green spot compared to the dusty road outside. Across from us is the GEB station, which is a big landmark for anyone trying to find where we are. Being on the highway means we see a lot of people just passing through on their way to other cities in Gujarat. The noise of the trucks and cars is always there in the background, but we are used to it by now. We spend most of our time keeping the restaurant tidy and making sure the kitchen is stocked up. Some of the staff live nearby in Chhani and walk over every morning. It is a simple setup here, nothing too complicated. We open up early and stay open until the travelers stop coming for the night. The 391740 area has changed quite a bit over the years with more traffic on the highway, but we just keep doing what we do every day. If you are driving on NH 8, you will see our sign near the resort entrance. We don't have a big corporate team; it is just a bunch of local people working here. We try to keep the tables clean and the water bottles filled for the guests. It is just a regular restaurant on a busy road where people can stop and sit for a while.
