My Recipe Restaurant

My Recipe Restaurant is located over in the Shreeji Villa Complex on Waghodiya Road. We are at units 5, 6, and 7, right near the D Mart at the Shivam Crossing. Being so close to a big store like that means there are always cars and scooters everywhere. It makes the parking a bit of a nightmare sometimes, but we just deal with it. The restaurant is a decent size, and we try to keep the tables lined up straight, though they always seem to get pushed around by the time lunch is over. We do all the cooking in the back and the kitchen is usually a bit of a chaotic place with steam everywhere and people moving fast. We don't use any fancy machines, just regular stoves and a lot of hand-chopping for the vegetables. The walls have a few marks here and there and the menu is just printed out on some plain paper. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the decor; we just want to get the food out on time. Most of our days are spent checking the fridge and making sure we have enough spices. When the sun goes down, the lights from the crossing shine into the front windows. It is a busy life here in Vadodara, and we are just one part of the noise. We stay open until the last customer finishes their plate and then we start over for tomorrow.
