Perfect Engineers is tucked away at Plot No. 323a in the GIDC Industrial Estate. We’re a small engineering outfit that’s been around the block a few times. Most of our work involves lathes and milling machines, and you can usually hear the sound of metal being worked from the street. It’s a hands-on kind of place. We don’t have a receptionist or a big lobby; you just walk in and find someone on the floor. The floor is often covered in metal shavings by midday, but that’s just a sign of work being done. We take on various repair jobs and custom parts for other businesses nearby. Sometimes we’re working late into the evening if a client has a breakdown that needs fixing urgently. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s steady. Our tools are well-used and we know exactly how each machine behaves. The GIDC estate is pretty crowded, so parking can be a bit of a headache near our plot. We’ve known the neighbors for years, and we often borrow tools or help each other out. It’s a community of makers and fixers. We just try to do an honest job and make sure the parts fit right before they leave the shop. That’s how we’ve always operated. We don't see any reason to change things after all this time.
