Murlidhar Sales Corporation

Murlidhar Sales Corporation is located at Plot No. 992-4-1. We are also sitting right opposite the Gayatri Ice Factory in the GIDC Ind. Estate. It's a handy spot because the ice factory is a big help for giving directions to people who haven't been here before. We deal with sales, so there is a lot of talking on the phone and writing things down in books. Our office isn't anything to look at. It’s got some old desks and a lot of filing cabinets that are starting to get full. We spend a lot of time checking inventory and making sure what we have matches what the customers are asking for. The floor is concrete and we have a small warehouse space in the back for the stock. It can get pretty dusty back there. We don't have a receptionist, so whoever is closest to the door usually answers it. Most of the people who come by are regulars who have been buying from us for years. We know them by name and usually have a chat about the weather or the traffic before getting down to business. It’s a simple way of working. We don't use any fancy software for everything; a lot of it is still done with pen and paper. It works for us. The days can be long, but we just take it one order at a time.
