Krishna Engineering

Krishna Engineering is a small outfit located at Plot No. 873/b-4 in the Gidc. Industrial Estate. We’ve been operating out of this same plot for quite a few years now. It’s a typical industrial setup with high ceilings and heavy tools scattered around. We do a lot of turning and milling, depending on what the customers need that week. The floor is concrete and usually has a bit of oil on it from the machines. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in the estate, just a steady one. Most of our work comes from people we’ve known for a long time. It’s a small world in the Gidc. We have a few lathes and a milling machine that have seen better days but still work okay. You learn how to listen to the machines to know if they’re running right. That’s the kind of place this is. No one wears a tie here. We just put on our overalls and get to work. Sometimes we stay late to finish a job, other times it’s a bit slower and we catch up on maintenance or cleaning the tools. It’s a steady life. The address is easy to find once you’re inside the main industrial area. We’re just another part of the community here, doing our bit with metal and grease. Sometimes we sit outside for a bit when it is cool.
