Air Tech Engineering

Our shop, Air Tech Engineering, sits at Plot No. 497-3-a in the Gidc Ind. Estate. It is a decent-sized space for what we need. I spend most of my time on the floor rather than in the little office room we have. We started this place because there was a need for engineering work in this area. It's nothing fancy, just grease, metal, and hard work. The floor is usually covered in scrap by the end of the shift, so we spend a lot of time cleaning up on Saturday mornings. The Gidc estate is a busy place, especially in the mornings when everyone is arriving. Parking can be a headache sometimes around Plot 497. We have some regular customers who have been coming to us for years. They know we don't have a receptionist or a fancy lobby. You just walk in and talk to whoever is free. It works for us. We keep our overhead low so we can just keep doing what we do. Sometimes the rain leaks through the roof a bit when it's really heavy, but we put a bucket under it and carry on. That’s just life in an industrial estate. We’re not trying to change the world or anything. We just want to do the work right and keep the machines running. If you pass by, you’ll probably hear the sounds of grinding and welding coming from our door.
